I could use some tips

who does one tip for a wedding?

the band?
the florist?
the baker?
photographer?
driver?

let me know since I have to figure this into my budget.

maybe sad to hear, but i think everyone you see on the day of the event (even the church/clergyman via charitable contribution on top of site fee) gets a gratuity of some kind.

i would say the baker only if they deliver. (do you want to hear a cake delivery horror story? a no-tip scenario) your reception site might actually include an automatic tip for their staff in your bill.

it seems sensible to draw the tip line at anyone who is not involved in the "day of" stuff, like seamstress who does final alteration two weeks before (unless she has to be called in for last minute emergency).

you or your appointee (often father of the bride or best man) carries envelopes labeled for "driver" or "band" or "dj" so no one is forgotten (you'll carry all day of beauty oriented envelopes).

essentially you even "tip" the bridal party with gifties.
